Quadiometry: How It Works

Quadiometry can be used to perform audiology both locally and remotely over the internet.

For local Quadiometry, audiology is performed using Quadio's native software Quadio Audiometry Software (QAS) on Quadiometer Q2.

For net-enabled Quadiometry clinics, communication with the main clinic occurs using Quadio's native software Net Audiometry Software (NAS) on Quadiometer Q2. An internet connection is established between the clinic and the patient location and evaluation takes place:

Clinic Location Patient Location
Launch Net Audiometry software on the computer. Clinic representative connects Quadiometer Q2 to the computer.
Enter patient details and case history. Switch on Quadiometer Q2.
Connect using Net Audiometry software features. Establish connection.
Conduct audiometry using Quadiometer and NAS. Hearing is evaluated.
Review the report that is generated. Receive printout of generated report.
Counsel patient and recommend treatment plan via a video-conferencing call. Receive consultation from audiologist.
